"The Sweetest Boy I Know"

Yup, that was the discussion that Miss Grace and I had the other night. We were filling out Valentine's Cards for her classmates and she was VERY mindful of the card each person got from her, particularly the ones with the X's and O's on them. She told me that the only friends who would get those were girls like Kelsey or Gracie, her close friends, NOT any BOYS!

Each time we have ever asked her who is the special boy in her life she always say emphatically, "No one! I am going to marry Baxter!" For those who don't know, Baxter is our dog, LOL! Guess that means boys are just not on the radar right now and we are TOTALLY good with that.

But...just as we were finishing writing out her cards she shared a little secret sentiment, almost as if her thoughts accidentally slipped out audibly, which took me quite by surprise. Out of the blue she said, "Aivin is the sweetest boy I know." Awwww, that is so sweet!

I must say that of all the boys her age I know, he IS more than worthy of her affection. Hurry summer, so they can be pals again!
